How to Share Wordle Results

If you already played Wordle multiple times, and you decide to find out how to share the results of the game on Facebook, Instagram and more platforms.

Then you may have tried and failed, or you are just getting started.

So you don’t know how to do it.

Wordle is a game made by Josh Wardle, and it was sold to The New York Times website.

The easiest way to share the Wordle results is by copying the puzzle and pasting it in the desired place.

In case you are playing it on your PC or Mobile Phone, you can follow the steps below.

So today, I will teach you how to share Wordle results on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media apps, using your PC or Mobile Phone.

How to Share Wordle Results

To share the Wordle results, play the Wordle game, then on the results popup, click on the “Share” button.

Then open your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter app.

However, you can use any other social media app or website.

After that, paste the copied Wordle results on the desired app, then post them.

However, for this method, we will be using a PC.

Therefore, for the Instagram and Facebook methods, we will be using an iPhone, yet, it has the same results on Android. 

1.Copy the Puzzle

When you start to play the Wordle game on your PC browser, then you win it, a new popup will occur.

On that popup, there are statistics as well as the time of when the Wordle resets.

There is also a Green “Share” button.

So click on the “Share” button.

Then you will see a small rectangle notification that says “Copied results to clipboard”.

2.Open the desired place

After copying the Wordle results, it’s time to go to the place where you want to share them.

In our case, we will consider the Twitter app as the desired destination.

However, you can follow the same steps with Facebook and Instagram.

So open your Twitter account, to post a new Tweet.

3.Share the Wordle results

In your Twitter account, click on the “What’s happening?” bar to create the new tweet.

Then simply on your keyboard hit the “Ctrl + V” buttons to paste the results in the form of a colored tile.

Therefore, you will see the results, and they will be ready to share.

Now add your word if you want to, before posting the Tweet.

Then, when you are ready, click on the “Tweet” button to share your Wordle results.

How to Share Wordle on Facebook

To share your Wordle results on Facebook, open the results page on your iPhone or Android browser, then tap on the “Share” button.

A new popup, will popup will slide from the bottom of your phone’s screen.

Therefore, tap on “Copy” to copy the cube results.

Then share it on Facebook by pasting them there.

After winning the Wordle game, the results popup will show up.

So on the popup tap on the “Share” button to copy the results.

Then a new popup will show up again with multiple sharing options like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and more.

You can tap directly on one of them to share the results.

But as some users are getting errors, we will do it by copying and pasting the results.

So tap on the “Copy” icon in the new popup to copy the Wordle results.

2.Open the Facebook app

When you copy the results, open your Facebook app.

Then tap on the “What’s on your mind?” bar to create a new post.

Therefore, the Facebook post page will show up.

So you can paste the tiles on that page.

3.Paste and share the results

On the post edit page, tap and hold to paste the Wordle results.

Then, when the small popup shows up, tap on “Paste”.

You will see that the colored tiles or blocks have been pasted.

Now simply tap on the “Post” button to share your Wordle results with your Facebook friends.

How to Share Wordle on Instagram

To share Wordle on Instagram, tap on the “Share” button in the Wordle page to copy the results, then open your Instagram app to post them as a story.

So when you open the Instagram app, make a new story.

Then tap on the “Aa” icon to paste the colored tiles.

First, open the Wordle results page, then tap on the “Share” button.

Therefore, a new popup will slide up from the bottom.

On the popup, tap on “Copy” to copy the Wordle tiles.

Therefore, navigate to your Instagram app.

2.Open the Instagram app

On the Instagram app, go tap on the “+” button on your profile page to open the stories page.

Then tap on the “Aa” button to open the text editor page on your story.

When the text editor page opens, tap and hold on to that page.

You will see after a small popup to paste the results, so tap on it to paste the colored tiles.

3.Share the Wordle results on Stories

After pasting the colored tiles on the Instagram story, add your word if you have any.

Now tap on the “Next” button at the top right of the screen.

Then tap on the “Right” arrow at the bottom right of the screen.

A new popup will show up with a blue “Share” button.

Tap on the “Share” button to share the Wordle results in your Instagram stories.


Wordle is an interesting brainstorming game, which allocates your old memorized 5 words letters to push them on the puzzle.

It’s very easy to share your results, by just tapping on the “Share” icon to share to copy them, then paste them in your desired place.

You just need to know that the PC version will copy the results directly for you.

Yet the mobile phone version will need to be copied from the swiped-up popup.
