How to Find Saved Videos on YouTube
To find saved videos on YouTube, open the app on your phone, then tap on “Library” and check the “Playlists” menu.
On that menu, you’ll find all the videos that you’ve already saved before.
Generally, when you want to save a video on YouTube, the app will show you a popup in which you can select your preferred playlist to add your video on.
These playlists are found on the “Library” page.
So you only need to remember in which playlist you saved the video.
Otherwise, you’ll need to take a look at the “Watch Later”, “History”, “Liked”, or “Downloads” pages.
You’ll likely find the video on one of these pages.
Note that the method below is applicable to your YouTube PC version.
1.Open your YouTube app
First, start by opening your YouTube app, and sign in if you haven’t.
When the app opens, you’ll find at the bottom of the screen multiple options including the “Library” option.
These options are in the left menu in the PC version.
When you save your videos they will go to one of the playlists that you named or you already have on your YouTube account.
2.Tap on the Library icon
Now that you’ve opened your YouTube app, you need to tap on the “Library” option at the bottom right of the screen.
When you tap on Library, a new page will open which is the recent feed page where all your videos are.
On that page, you can find and watch your saved YouTube videos by finding your playlist.
3.Check the “Playlists” to watch your saved videos on Youtube
When you open the Library feed page, and as you need to watch your saved youtube videos, you have to check the Playlist menu.
To do so, Scroll down a little bit to the “Playlist” menu.
After reaching the Playlist menu, you’ll find all your youtube playlists that contain your saved videos.
Find the playlist that you think your video is on it, then tap on that playlist.
For example: if you saved the YouTube video on a playlist called “Nature”, you need to tap on the “Nature” playlist to find your saved video there and watch it.
4.Visit the “Downloads” page
If you can’t find the video you’re looking for, you need to take a look at the “Download” page.
On the Download page, you’ll find all the videos that you already downloaded to watch offline.
It can be that you hit the “Download” button by mistake rather than hitting the “+ Save” button.
To check the Download page, get back to the “Library” page.
When you are on the Library page, tap on “Downloads”.
Then the page will open and you can find all your downloaded YouTube videos that you’ve saved to watch offline.
5.Open the “Watch Later” and “History” pages
If you still don’t find your video in any place you’ve tried to check, you need to go to the “Watch Later” and your “History” page.
To check the Watch Later page, on the Library page, tap on “Watch Later”.
Then on the new page, you’ll see all the YouTube videos that you saved to watch later.
To check the History page, tap on “History” on the Library page.
When the new page opens, you’ll find all the YouTube videos that you’ve recently watched, including shorts.
Finally, if you aren’t able to find your video, this means that you haven’t saved it, which means that you forgot maybe.
Where Are My Saved YouTube Videos
You can find your saved YouTube videos on the Playlists that you selected while saving your video, or on “History”, “Watch Later”, and “Liked Videos”.
Keep in mind that shorts can’t be saved on your playlist while watching them.
However, you can save them from the Library feed page.
So you’ll find all the standard saved YouTube videos on the Playlists.
If you want to see all your watched videos including the shorts, you need to check the “History”.
Where Does the Downloaded YouTube Videos Go
When you tap on the Download button below the YouTube video that you’re watching, the video will go to the “Downloads” page on the app “Library”.
To find and watch your downloaded and saved YouTube videos offline, you need to tap on the “Library” icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Then when the page opens, tap on “Downloads” to find the downloaded videos.
YouTube has multiple places where it saves your video, so you need to check each of these places if you think that you’ve lost access to the video.
You can access the Library from the YouTube app or on the website on a PC.
When you open the Library, you’ll see all the playlists that you’ve already created in which your saved videos are.
Keep in mind that the places where you can find and watch your saved videos on YouTube are chronologically “Playlists”, “Watch Later”, “Liked Videos”, “Downloads”, and “History”.
